Biography

Martin G. Brennan of Virginia, a counselor in the Senior Foreign Service, is the new U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Uganda.

Ambassador Brennan joined the Foreign Service in 1976 and served in Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Taiwan, Portugal, and Thailand. He was the beneficiary of a Pearson Program assignment to the World Affairs Council of Northern California. He most recently served as Deputy Chief of Mission in Addis Ababa.
