As the only international travel exhibition in Norway, "Reiseliv" has developed into the most important marketing channel for everyone interested in the Norwegian market, targeting numerous "sun-hungry" and new destination interested Norwegians with an exceptionally high level of personal income. USFCS Oslo plans to have an even larger "Business Information Office" and pavilion for the U.S. exhibitors in January 2000.

There were more than 1200 exhibitors from 31 countries, including 15 national pavilions (USA, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, and the UK). According to a final report from our exhibitors in the U.S. pavilion, they were all very pleased with the results. The success of the U.S. pavilion at ONS '98, confirmed that the Norwegian offshore oil-and-gas sector continues to be very attractive to U.S. suppliers.
