Secretary of State Albright Press Briefing

Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright will brief the press ON THE RECORD today, December 17, in the State Department’s briefing room (room 2118) at approximately 1:30 pm, following Secretary of Defense Cohen’s Pentagon briefing. After opening remarks, Secretary Albright will respond to questions on diplomatic aspects of the military attack on Iraq.

After a short filing break, State Department Spokesman James P. Rubin will hold the regular daily press briefing, also in the State Department press briefing room.
