Secretary Albright To Deliver Address on the
Challenges Facing U.S. National Interests at
Home and Abroad

Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright will deliver an address before the Center for National Policy on the challenges facing U.S. national interests at home and abroad. Her address will take place Thursday, January 21, 1999, at 8:30 a.m. at the Washington Court Hotel (Ballrooms II and III) at 525 New Jersey Avenue, NW. A question-and-answer session with the CNP audience will follow the Secretary’s remarks.

This event is open for press coverage. Doors will open for press set up at 7:00 a.m. All press must be in place by 8:00 a.m. Press should enter on New Jersey Avenue and proceed to the Monticello room, lower lobby for check in. Press should have a U.S. Government press ID (U.S. Department of State, White House, Capitol Hill, Department of Defense or USIA’s Foreign Press Center) or a letter on official letterhead from their news organization verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by a photo ID (driver’s license or passport).
