Special Briefing on Function 150
(International Affairs) Budget

Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright will make remarks to the press on Monday, February 1, 1999, at 2:15 p.m., on the International Affairs budget for FY 2000. Following the Secretary’s remarks, Ambassador Craig Johnstone, Director of the Office of Resources, Plans and Policy, will deliver brief remarks and then respond to questions on the budget from the press. The briefing will take place in the State Department Press Briefing Room (room 2118), and will be ON THE RECORD and on camera.
