Visit of Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright to Paris and Rambouillet At the request of the President, Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright will travel to France on February 13 to conduct her own on-the-ground assessment of the Kosovo interim settlement negotiations now in progress at Rambouillet.
Secretary Albright will leave Washington on the morning of February 13, arriving in Paris that evening. During her stay in France, she will meet with Ambassador Chris Hill and his fellow negotiators, and will hold other meetings as well. The full schedule of the Secretary's meetings in France has yet to be determined.
Secretary Albright will depart from France late Sunday, February 14, to join President Clinton in Mexico.
