Next Round of U.S.-D.P.R.K. Bilateral Talks
On Suspect Underground ConstructionThe next round of U.S.-D.P.R.K. discussions on the Kumchang-ni underground construction will be held in New York, commencing February 27. In these talks, as in previous rounds, the U.S. will seek steps by the D.P.R.K. to remove fully our suspicions about the site, including by providing access to it. Ambassador Charles Kartman, U.S. Special Envoy for the Korean Peace Talks, will lead the U.S. delegation.
