Visit of Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright
To Paris and Rambouillet

Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright plans to return to France on February 20 to urge both sides in the negotiations at Rambouillet to seize this opportunity to achieve an interim settlement agreement for Kosovo.

Secretary Albright plans to leave Washington on the afternoon of February 19, arriving in Paris early on the morning of February 20. The full schedule of the Secretary's meetings in France has yet to be determined.
