U.S.-Mongolia Consultations The United States and Mongolia held consultations on bilateral and regional political security issues in Bangkok, Thailand on March 1-2. Deputy Assistant Secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Ralph L. Boyce headed the U.S. delegation, and Ambassador Hazbarlin Bekhbat, Director of the Political Department of the Ministry of External Relations, headed the Mongolian delegation. Ambassadors of the United States and Mongolia attended the meeting. The discussions were wide-ranging and productive. The two sides expressed their appreciation for the excellent state of bilateral relations. The United States and Mongolia look forward to continuing these consultations on a regular basis.
