Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright
Luncheon Address

Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright will deliver a luncheon address on "American Political and Economic Leadership: The Challenges of the Global Economy," on Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at 12:30 p.m. at the Department of State in the Benjamin Franklin Room. Following her speech, the Secretary will respond to questions from the audience.

This event is open for press coverage. The Department of State is located at 2201 C Street, NW. Pre-set for cameras is 9:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.; press pick up is from the C Street lobby. All press may re-enter the Benjamin Franklin room at 12:00 p.m.; press pick up will be from the C street lobby. Press should have U.S. Government identification (U.S. Department of State, White House, Capitol Hill, or USIA’s Foreign Press Center) or a letter on official letterhead from their news organization verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by a photo ID (driver’s license or passport).
