Cancellation of Public Announcement on Jamaica The civil unrest that occurred earlier this week in Jamaica has subsided. The situation appears to be returning to normal with the resumption of business activities and travel. The Public Announcement of April 23, 1999 that alerts U.S. citizens to the disruptions is canceled.
