Notice to the Press

Secretary Albright To Address NAACP Annual Convention and
Visit American Craft Museum Exhibit

Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright will deliver a keynote address to the Annual Convention of the NAACP on Tuesday, July 13 at 9:15 a.m. in New York City. The Secretary's speech will be open for press coverage. The NAACP Annual Convention will be held at the Hilton Towers Hotel at 53rd Street and Avenue of the Americas, New York. Details on arrangements for press coverage and a contact name and number will be provided on Monday, July 12.

Following the speech, Secretary Albright will visit the American Craft Museum to view the exhibit "Brooching It Diplomatically." The exhibit was established by Helen W. Drutt English and is a contemporary jewelry exhibit which includes the works of notable artists who have created brooches in tribute to Secretary Albright.
