July 22, 1999

The U.S. Department of State, in conjunction with the International Relations Council and cooperating organizations with support from Sprint Foundation, will sponsor a Town Meeting in Kansas City, Missouri, on Thursday, July 22, at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Performing Arts Center. Topics will include "U.S. Humanitarian Response to the Crisis in Kosovo," "U.S. Interests in Africa," and "Why the United Nations and Multilateral Relations are Important to U.S. Global Interests."

The program begins with registration at 4:00 p.m. and concludes at 9:00 p.m. The University of Missouri-Kansas City Performing Arts Center is located at 4949 Cherry Road.
