U.S.-Vietnam Human Rights Dialogue

The State Department is hosting today the eighth round of our regular human rights dialogue with Vietnam. Harold Hongju Koh, Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, is leading the U.S. delegation. Also participating is Ambassador Robert Seiple, the U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom.

Vietnam's delegation is being led by Ambassador Dinh Thi Minh Huyen, Director of International Organizations in the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The two delegations will be discussing a full range of human rights issues.
