Presidential Elections in Croatia
Former U.S. Senator Paul Simon will serve as the OSCE Special Coordinator for monitoring of the Croatian Presidential elections on Sunday, June 15. The OSCE monitoring effort's staff of 100 will include 40 Americans in addition to an OSCE parliamentary delegation and other international monitors.
Senator Simon was appointed by Chairman-in-Office of the OSCE, Danish Foreign Minister Niels Helveg Petersen. Senator Simon will issue a statement on the findings of the international monitoring efforts on June 16.
