- Ban chemical weapons
- Restrain development & transfer of advanced weapon technologies
- Deactivate 5000 nuclear warheads from former Soviet Union and eliminate nuclear weapons from three former Soviet Republics
- Help more than 25,000 former Soviet weapons scientists find employment in peaceful commercial ventures
Promote Peace -- Prevent, contain, and end conflicts in:
- Middle East
- Northern Ireland
- Balkans
- Central America
- Ecuador/Peru
- Korean Peninsula
- South Asia
- Africa
Fight Drug Trafficking:
- Reduce opium production in Asia
- Cut coca production in the Western Hemisphere
- Intercept billions of dollars in drugs before they reach American neighborhoods
Fight International Terrorism:
- Train friendly governments in counterterrorism
- Offer rewards for terrorist suspects
- Gather information to anticipate and prevent terrorist attacks
- Bring more than 200 suspected criminals and terrorists to the U.S. in the last two years to face American justice
