Trip of Secretary of State Albright
To Ramstein, Germany
August 12-13, 1998
Secretary Albright will depart Wednesday morning, August 12, 1998, at approximately 6:00 a.m., from Andrews Air Force Base for Ramstein, Germany. It is expected that upon arrival in Germany, she will go to the hospital in Lanstuhl and pay her respects to those injured in the Nairobi bombing who are there in the hospital -- be they American or Kenyan. Secretary Albright will leave the next morning with the bodies of our deceased colleagues returning directly from Ramstein on a military aircraft to Washington.
